TOM DIXON - LIGHTING

Thinking about joining the ideas that I am using with regards light, I also thought about what kind of contexts this could have in a more furnishing home kind of scenario. I found this wonderful piece of 3D design work by Tom Dixon, a British design company who create interesting light fittings, focusing on not only the aesthetic of the light itself but also the shadows and projections they create.

I think the patterns of the shadows it is producing are beautiful, and something which really got me thinking about the relevance to my project, with regards light but also the geometric shapes which I am also looking at. It also makes me think about the possibility of working a bit in three dimensions aswell, which I will try and look into.
