Florian Schmidt uses concrete to create interesting pieces of furniture, which may look soft but are in fact made of sewn together concrete. The material he uses is called 'concrete canvas', he sews together the pieces, then wets the canvas and then as this dries it hardens into concrete, providing a strong structure with which people can sit and enjoy.
I like the processes of this, and how it changes through the making, and I thought it could possibly be useful for people who were considering furniture or seating.
